Finale of the Dialog Rugby 7s this weekend

The decisive second leg of the Dialog Rugby 7s 2018, the country’s premier club Sevens tourney, will kick off tomorrow and run until 17 June at the picturesque Racecourse Grounds in Colombo.

In the second leg of this year’s tournament, 18 teams will fight it out for the coveted cup, plate and shield championships. In the second leg of the Dialog Rugby 7s 2018, strong performances from CR&FC, CH&FC, Navy SC, Police SC and Army SC are on the cards to entertain a packed stadium especially in the final day of the second leg of the tourney.

Sri Lanka’s rugby-loving public can expect a carnival atmosphere on Sunday, 17 June as vendors from Eat Street CMB will provide a culinary experience to tantalise rugby fans’ taste buds along with live music from Sri Lanka’s best-known DJs to keep everyone entertained. At last year’s Dialog Rugby 7s, a superb all-round display from Navy SC saw them beat CR&FC 21-17 to clinch the Cup in the final.
