Finance Department wins Galadari Inter-Department Cricket Tournament

 Tournament Champions the Finance Department

Galadari Colombo held its Inter-Department Cricket Tournament at the Malay Grounds recently in grand style. 

The annual event was held with much enthusiasm and camaraderie. The competition was spearheaded by Galadari Sports Club President Sanjeewa Samarawickrama and his team.

As the departments battled each other for supremacy, the Finance Department, captained by Rukmal Peiris, emerged champs. The runners-up were the Housekeeping Department, captained by G.L.D. Sameera, with the Kitchen Department coming in third. The Best Bowler title went to K.P.K.S Oshadith of the Housekeeping Department while T.W. Aruna of the Finance Department emerged as the Best Batsman.

The prestigious Man of the Finals trophy went to T.W. Aruna of the Finance Department while the Man of the Series award was presented to Kasun Perera of the Finance Department and the Best Dressed Team went to the Kitchen Department. The event ended on a high note, with music, fellowship and dancing.
