Dhuwarshan takes early lead

The first National Ranking Tournament (NRT) for 2025 teed off at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) saw S. Dhuwarshan taking early lead with a score of 72 on the initial day in the Hill Country yesterday. In total 34 Boys/Gents and five Girls/Ladies are teeing off in this event.

This scenic venue sets the stage for exciting competition, though several top-ranked players were absent. Yannik Kumara, Reshan Algama, and Jevahn Sathasivam, all world-ranked players, missed the tournament due to study commitments. Reshan Algama and Jevahn Sathasivam were also unavailable due to imminent overseas golf assignments.
