First ever Inter-Indian Association Six-a-Side softball cricket tourney

Indian Cultural Association (ICA) yesterday conducted the first ever Inter-Indian Association Six-a-Side softball cricket tournament at the Colts Cricket grounds.

The tournament was a play-off between nine different Indian Associations in Sri Lanka and also a team from the High Commission of India.

After the tournament is concluded, they will select the best players from each team and form the Indian Diaspora Team. This Indian Diaspora team will then play an exhibition match with Legends of 96 (Sri Lankan team that won the ICC World Cup in 1996).

Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha was the Chief Guest.
