Galle Titans beat B. Love Kandy

Galle Titans last night achieved a convincing win against B. Love Kandy by 83 runs in the on-going Lanka Premier League.

Batting first, Galle Titans scored 180 for 5 and B. Love Kandy was bowled out for 97.

Tim Seiferet top scored for Galle with 74 off 39 ball. Other scorers were Shakib Al Hasan (30) and Shevon Daniel (25).

B. Love Kandy failed miserably in batting. Dinesh Chandimal was out second ball for a duck, Angelo Mathews was out for 2 in six balls and Captain Wainindu Hasarange for 9 off 7 balls.

Bowler Isuru Udana scored 16 and Ashen Bandara top scored with 27. Extras were the second highest at 19.

For Galle, Kasun Rajitha, Richard Ngarava, Tabraiz Shamsi and Shakib Al Hasan picked up 2 wickets each.
