Gevin Linden shines at 2025 SLMTF National Championship

Gevin Linden (24), a rising star from Vanquish Muay Thai and Fitness, showcased exceptional skills to claim Gold in the 75kg weight class at the prestigious Sri Lanka Muay Thai Federation (SLMTF) National Championship held from 7 to 8 January at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.

This victory further solidifies Linden’s dominance in the sport. He previously secured the WBC Sri Lanka Muay Thai National Championship in 2023 within the same weight class. Notably, Linden recently made history as the first-ever Sri Lankan to compete in Kard Chuek at the esteemed Thai Fight League in Thailand, a global leader in Muay Thai competitions.

Linden’s professional Muay Thai journey commenced in 2022, where he achieved a remarkable Gold medal at the WBC Muaythai Sri Lanka National Championships.

Beyond his athletic prowess, Linden possesses a strong academic foundation with a Masters Degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of West London.
