Golfing excellence at RCGC’s October Monthly Medal presented by CDB

The October Monthly Medal in collaboration with CDB was teed off at RCGC on 4 and 5 October

The much looked forward to monthly event in the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) calendar – the October Monthly Medal – teed off on 4 and 5 October showcasing great golfing excellence, on and off the green. 

Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB) was the Title Sponsor for the October Monthly Medal which had over 260 golfers competing across various divisions. 

Prowess on the green was amply seen as H.M.D. Bandaranayake emerged as the Overall Winner (Ladies) and Manjula Chandrasoma, the Overall Winner (Men’s). Both were Gross Winners and Nett Winners – the former under the Ladies Senior Division and the latter under Division A. Bandaranayake had a score of 65 nett while Chandrasoma scored 64 Nett. Winning the Junior Division was Kian Niyarepola with a score of 65 nett. CDB presented the medals and gifts to the winners at the Gala Awards Ceremony held on 5 October.
