Gymkhana Stickers off to Singapore

The Gymkhana Club Colombo will take wing for Singapore to participate in the Singapore Hockey 6’s to be held from 28 February to 4 March at SSC Padang grounds, Singapore.

This tournament which was inaugurated way back in 1992 will attract 42 teams from all around the world likes of Australia, United Kingdom, India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Czech Republic and Pakistan. Former International players along with the current national players of their country will represent these clubs and will add glamour to this tournament. This tournament which is organised by Singapore Cricket Club is conceded to be a major international Club 6’s tournament in the world. 

Gymkhana Club consist of players who represented the national team as who had donned jersey for CH and FC/Gymkhana Club. This team will be led by Upul Fernando a former Joseph Vaaz College, Wennapuwa and former international player who is attached to HNB Assurance PLC.
