HNB Assurance Nitharshan’s hat trick shines at Mercantile Football Association League Div. I Tournament

Akbar Bros. stretched the strong HNB Assurance to the limit before going down fighting 4/5, in the ongoing Mercantile Football Association League 2024 Division I Tournament match at the City Football League Ground, Colombo 2.

M. Nitharshan with hat trick goals, and J.A. Rerinsan and Iruka Ashenla (a goal each) were the match winners for HNB Assurance, while M. Arshad and Shehan Prabudda (two goals each) played a tireless game for Akbar Bros.

In another Division I match played at the same venue, Traveller Global held the strong Expolanka Holdings to a two-all draw. Afeel Mohamed and Siraj Jain (a goal each) scored for Expolanka while Udara Ratnayake and L. Mahaimeen (a goal each) scored for Traveller Global.
