HNB edges out Sri Lanka Air Force

Hatton National Bank (HNB) edged out Sri Lanka Air Force 49-47 in a thrilling final to retain the Champions Trophy at the National Netball Championship 2022 played at the Digana Indoor Stadium last weekend.

Sri Lanka Air Force looked a better outfit early in the game but defending champions HNB settled down to pull off a late win. At the end of the third quarter the game was tied at 39 apiece, but HNB edged the fourth quarter 10-8 to take home the trophy.

HNB beat Kurunegala DNA 45-17, Sri Lanka Air Force beat Sri Lanka Army 41-36

Sri Lanka Army beat Kurunegala DNA 68-45

HNB beat Sri Lanka Air Force 49-47
