Hambantota Intl. Port runners-up at CASA Mini Cricket Tournament 2020 for 2nd year

Hambantota International Port became the runners-up for the second consecutive year at the CASA Mini Cricket Tournament 2020 organised by the Ceylon Association of Shipping Agents (CASA) held on 15 February at the Nondescript Cricket Ground (NCC). 

The mini tournament is played on invitation for the port authorities, ports, terminals, customs, dockyard, etc. This is the third time HIP has participated, having been placed runners-up last year as well.  

In the knockout matches, HIP beat Ceylon Dockyard PLC and South Asia Gateway Terminals Ltd. (SAGT) and qualified for the final round against Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA).
