Hambantota Port Brigade wins Inter Fire Services Softball Cricket Tournament for 2nd year

The Emergency Rescue Unit (ERU) of Hambantota International Port (HIP) won the Inter Fire Services Softball Cricket Tournament for the second consecutive year. The six-a-side softball cricket tournament open for all the members of the Professional Fire Fighters Association was held recently at the Hambantota Municipal Council Grounds. The tournament was organised by the Professional Fire Fighters Association Sri Lanka and hosted by the Hambantota International Port. 14 fire brigades island-wide participated including Jaffna, Batticaloa, and Polonnaruwa.
