Hameedians Super 16 seven-a-side football tournament kicks off today

The Hameedians Football Club organised the Hameedians Super 16 seven-a-side football tournament among the old boys for the second consecutive year at the Campbell Park, Borella, today and tomorrow, from 7.30 a.m. onwards. 

Hameedians Football Club was founded in 2013 with a vision to develop college football as well as to gather the talents of the football players who have left school and connect them with amateur-level club football and mould them into professional football players. 

The Hameedians Football Club has noted the clear expectations of various football players who are college old boys from various age categories requesting to take part in football tournaments. The teams participating the tournament are Hameedian Guys, Hameedians Prince Warriors, Fire Fighters, Hameedians United, HAH Land Bullet Team, Underdog, Husseiniya FC, Hameedians City, Hameedians Legends Maroons, Lions, Hameedians 08, HAH Crest, Old Hameedians King, Hameedians Messenger, and Hameedians Central. 

The main sponsors of the tournament are Saffron Restaurant Partner M.S.M. Rizmy, and Gold Sponsors Yaseen Printers Mohamed Bafeek and Tuan Haroon Rizan, who handed over the sponsorship cheques to the Principal of the Hameed Al Husseinie College A.K.T Adahan during a press conference held at the College Main Hall recently.

The President of the Club Adhil Abubucker, Secretary Irfan Farook, Manager Mohamed Mufsheed, Old Boys Association Secretary Fawaz Cader, and Group of 80 Secretary Fazmin Faiz were also present.
