Havelock Sports Club maintained their unbeaten record by trouncing CR&FC 31-22 in a crunch game last Saturday. Demonstrating their superior all round skills, the resurgent park club set the pace and ruled the field for much of the game further highlighting their title ambitions.
Havelock Sports Club got the game off to a cracking start by scoring two back to back goals in the first 20 minutes and ended up scoring 3 goals and 2 tries as against the 2 goals, a try and a penalty scored by the red shirts.
Playing according to a plan Havelocks left little room for CR to play their normal game. Although there was spirited resistance by CR in patches, in the end it was Havelocks all the way.
