Havelock Sports Club continued their winning ways when they beat Army by 36 points (five tries, four conversions, one penalty) to 14 points (two tries, two conversions) under lights at the Havelock Sports Club ground yesterday. At the short-breather Park Club led 19/0.Havies tries were scored by Azmeer Fajudeen (3), Maleesha Jayarathna and Mithun Hapugoda. Sandesh Jayawickrema was on target with three of the conversions and put over a solitary penalty.
For Army, their try was scored by Danushka Thalwatte (2) with Chathuranga Perera adding the two conversions. Referee was Gihan Yatawara.
