Havies outclass Sri Lions

Havelock Sports Club returned to winning ways after losing to Kandy in their last outing when they handed off debutants, Sri Lions 43/13 at Havelock Park last weekend.

Former Royal Hooker Azmir Fajudeen returned with good three tries for the Park Club. At the short breather Park Club led 31/3.

Havies scored through Azmir Fajudeen (3), Sudesh Jayawickrema, Jayathu Rajarathne, Shehan Silva and Harusha Perera. Sandesh Jayawickrema did the kicking duties. Javies scored 7 tries with 4 conversions. Meanwhile Sri Lions scored their 13 points through 2 tries and 1 penalty. Their two tries were scored by Prasad Madushanka with skipper, Kevin Dixon putting over one penalty.

Referee of the game was Nalin Lasantha.
