Havies overpower Army in second-half comeback

Havelock Sports Club yesterday went through some tough times but came back later in the second half to pull off a 29 points (4 tries, 3 conversions, 1 penalty) to 18 points (2 tries, 1 conversion, 2 penalties) win over the Army Sports Club in their Mastercard Inter-Club rugby encounter at Panagoda.

At the short breather, it was the Army who led 5/3.

Army scored their tries through Danushka Wijethilake and Madushanka Patapilihewage. Gayan Salinda, who converted one try, put over two penalties as well. Havies scored their tries through Jayathu Rajarathna (2), Sachintha Wainyanath,  and Dilshara Kodagoda. Samuel Maduwantha put over three conversions and a solitary penalty.
