Henry signs up Kandy SC

Terence Henry

Former Wesley College, CR and FC, Havelock SC and National XV’s player, Terence Henry signed up with Kandy Sports Club for the 2024/2025 as their Forwards Coach. He took over from Viraj Prashanth.

Henry played for Wesley College ending as the Vice-Captain of the 1st XV rugby team in 2005. He won his rugby Colours at his school and joined CR and FC for club rugby where he played till 2011. After switching to Havies he led the Park club in 2012 taking the Park Club to win the league after a lapse of a 31 year drought. Henry was part of the Sri Lanka national rugby squad from 2007 to 2015.

 Henry who is the current Head Coach of Wesley College having stints at Zahira College and Science College at the same level. He was Assistant coach at Army Sports Club, Science College and Isipathana College earlier in his coaching career. Further he handled the forwards at Isipathana, St. Peter’s College and Under-20 National teams as well.
