Housekeeping Department emerges ultimate champions

Galadari Inter-Department Cricket Tournament 2018

The Galadari Hotel held its Inter-Department Cricket tournament 2018 at the Malay Grounds recently in grand style. This is an annual inter-department event held with much enthusiasm and camaraderie. The event was spearheaded by Galadari Sports Club President Sanjeewa Samarawickrama and his team.

As the departments battled each other for victory the Housekeeping Department Captained by G.L.D. Sameera became champs becoming the Winning Team of the Tournament. Runners-Up Team was clenched by Finance captained by Kasun Perera. Best Loser (third place) was given to Front Office. Best Bowler was won by P.A.L Silva of Housekeeping, Best Batsman was awarded to Ranga Kuruwita of Finance.

Prestigious titles Man of the Finals and Man of the Series both were awarded to Oshadith of Housekeeping, and Best Dressed Team went to the Housekeeping Department. The event ended on a high note with much celebration and dancing.
