The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 trophy tour’s Sri Lanka leg will commence today and will be made available for public display as below:
The trophy will be on display at the World Trade Centre, one of Sri Lanka’s key business centres in Colombo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. while the public will also get the opportunity to view the trophy at the One Galle Face Mall from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
On 15 September, the trophy will be displayed to the media with the participation of Sri Lanka’s white ball captain Dasun Shanaka.
The trophy arrives in Sri Lanka after reaching 20 plus cricketing destinations, and following the completion of the Sri Lanka leg, the trophy will reach India, the host of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
