India’s Dwivedi Samarath, who made his return to the pro golf circuit after a recovery from injury stunned the competition to win the Dialog Sri Lanka Golf Open Championship 2023.
Dwivedi Samarath scored 72 in the first round, stunning 61 in second round by which he tallied the course record, 69 in round three and scored another 69 in the final round to accumulate 271 during the four day tourney played at the Royal Colombo Golf Club. Samrath pipped Hossain of Bangladesh Jamal and Chouhan Omprakash of India by two strokes who were on equal score to the top spot of the Dialog Sri Lanka Golf Open Championship 2023. Sri Lanka’s Anura Rohana secured the fourth spot with a total of 276.
