India have announced their schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 season, with a three-match ODI series against the Aussies ahead of the home World Cup.

BCCI have announced the schedule for India’s home season 2023-24 with a total of 16 International matches, comprising five Tests, three ODIs, and eight T20Is.

Australia are set to play in India either side of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup with the three-match ODI series to be played as preparation for the marquee fifty-overs tournament.

After the World Cup, India will play a five-match T20I series against Australia, beginning on 23 November in Vizag and concluding on 3 December in Hyderabad.

Early January will see India host England in a five-match Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship cycle with matches in Hyderabad, Vizag, Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamsala. The first Test begins from 25 January.

Between the two series against the heavyweights, India will also host Afghanistan in a three-match T20I series at the start of the New Year with an eye towards the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 later in the year.
