Inter Club League 2019/2020 Winning start for Havies

Havies handed off a fine win over the Sailors by 35/3 away in Welisara yesterday. Defending Clifford Cup champions Havies scored a bonus point win after leading 21/3 at the short breather. Playing under Mithun Hapugoda and coached by veteran Sanath Martis, Havies sent a strong warning to other clubs who should not underestimate them. 

Azmir Fajudeen, Mithun Hapugoda, Randy Silva, Rukmal Fernando and Sasanka Ariyapala scored for the Park Club with Prince Chamara converting all of them. Sailors scored their only points through Thilina Weerasinghe.
