Isipathana College outclassed the defending champions, Wesley College 29/0 in the Cup final which concluded at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy. The green shirts knocked out Rajans in the semi-final. In fact, Rajans and D.S. Senanayake displayed champion rugby in the two-day event.

Meanwhile, D.S. accounted for the Plate, Science for the Bowl and Piliyandala Central for the Shield encounters. Thirty teams in total participated in this annual event, which saw teams battling it out at the Bogamabara and Pallekelle Stadiums.
