Isipathana overcome Thomians in extra time

Isipathana College booked their final berth when they overcame a spirited Thomain outfit in their President’s Trophy Knock out rugby semi-final encounter which concluded at the Royal Sports Complex last evening. The game was deadlocked at 20 apiece when Shaahid Zumri scored the winning try in to the extra time of the game.

Referee was Hasantha Weranga.

Defending league and knock out champions, St. Peters will meet Isipathana in the final encounter.

Ananda moved forward to the Premier Trophy final when they overcame Prince of Wales 36/23.
