J.C.A. Corea Memorial Trophy 2024: Trinity edge out Royal in thriller

The 18th encounter of the annual J.C.A. Correa Memorial Trophy saw Trinity edge out Royal 3/2 at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy recently.

This was the Trinitans’ third consecutive win since 2022.

Goals for Trinity were scored by Mohomed Arkam (2) and Aaqeel Rishad, meanwhile Minol Fernando and Sihath Dasanayaka scored a goal each for Royal.

Trinity is coached by Mohamed Rifas and assisted by Mohamed Ashraff. MIC (senior) Mahesh Udurawana and MIC (junior) Z. Zarook did a lot of hard work with the boys.

Umpires were K. Thilakasiri, T.K. Hendeniya, and I. Darshana.
