JKH A outclassed CDB 27/0 in the final of the Cup segment event of the 52nd Mercantile Rugby Sevens 2024 at the CR & FC Grounds recently.

Pearl Beach won the Plate, Brandix won the Bowl, and Moresand accounted for the Shield.

This year’s event was well organised and played in front of a packed crowd at Longdon Place, where the cream of the national players are taking the field.

This tournament saw Mastercard as the main sponsor and was conducted under the Presidency of former Trinity flanker Mercantile Rugby Football Association (MRFA) President Dinushka Jayatissa and his hardworking committee.
