Jacob Norton wins Scanwell Logistics Junior Open Golf Championship

The Junior Open Golf Championship 2023, sponsored by Scanwell Logistics, saw Jacob Norton winning the overall segment unfolded at Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) recently. His score was 69.

Over 90 boys and girls teed off their talent in a thrilling competition. Jevahn Sathasivam secured 2nd place followed by Pranav Muralidaran in the 3rd spot.

In the Silver division, Adhithya Weerasinghe emerged victorious, securing 1st place. Keshav Algama claimed 2nd spot, edging out T Deshan, who secured the 3rd place with a score of 77. Keshav’s better back nine performance proved pivotal in securing the 2nd place.

Shenal Nimshith dominated the Bronze division, clinching the 1st place, while L secured the 2nd place, and Genuli Weerakoon secured the 3rd place.

In the Copper division, Revaan Amarasinghe emerged as the winner, followed by Yuvan Rathis Kanth in the 2nd place and Jaeden Sathasivam in the 3rd place, showcasing exceptional skills and sportsmanship.
