The 3rd NTB annual golf tournament concluded recently at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) with an array of talented players showing their skills and capturing the coveted awards across various segments. The highlight of the vent saw for the very first time a Junior Golf event taking place plus another 240 plus golfers teeing off in this colourful annual event.

The NTB Customer Best Stableford score was claimed by Jayomi Lokuliyana with an impressive 42 points, while the coveted NTB Amex Challenge Trophy for the best Stableford score across all divisions was won by Liu Su, also with 42 points.



Ladies

In Bronze Division Dr. Pravina Dunuwilla emerge as the winner with a remarkable score of 41 points, while Manori Jayakody claimed the runner-up position with 37 points.

Silver Division witnessed a thrilling contest, with D. Senadhira clinching the top spot, while Jade Jiggens secured the runner-up position with 33 points on a better back nine.

In the Seniors Ladies Division, Shanaz Preena took home the winner’s trophy with 22 points, edging out Pam Pieris, who finished as the runner-up with 18 points.



Junior Division

This event took place for the very first time featuring golfers aged 13 to 18+, saw Vinuda Weerasinghe emerging victorious with a gross score of 75, outpacing Jevahn Sathasivam, who finished as the runner-up with a gross score of 76.



Senior Division

Hemasiri Subasinge claimed the top spot, while Wijitha Perera finished as the runner-up.



Masters Division

Milinda Ratnayake showed some exceptional skills to emerge as the winner with 39 points, followed by Lal Dias as the runner-up with 37 points.



Division C (Handicap 19 – 28)

Sathies Balasubramaniam was the winner, while Prabath Gamage finished as the runner-up.



Division B (Handicap 10 – 18)

Romesh Abhayaratne took the top spot, with Rajeev Pandithage as the runner-up, both scoring 41 points with Abhayaratne’s better back nine.



Division A (Handicap 0 – 09)

In the top segment Rajeeva Rajapaksa emerged victorious with 42 points, followed by Sudath Kumar as the runner-up with 38 points on a better back nine.



Nearest to the PIN and Longest Drive

The event also recognised the remarkable achievements on the course, with Andy Anderson winning the Nearest to the PIN award on the 13th hole, and hard hitting, Sachin De Silva claiming the Longest Drive award at the 8th hole.
