St. Joseph’s College defeated St. Peter’s to regain the Rev. Fr. Peter Pillai Memorial Challenge Shield in their 49th annual encounter played on Sunday at SSC grounds, Colombo. St. Peter’s was bowled out for 156 in 41.5 overs and St. Joseph’s scored the winnings runs with the loss of only 5 wickets in 40.2 overs. Here Chief Guest Asela Pathirana and Guest of Honour Dialog Axiata PLC Group General Counsel/Vice President - Group Legal and Regulatory Trinesh Fernando, handed over the Rev. Fr. Peter Pillai Memorial Challenge shield to Josephina Captain Sadeesh Jayawardena.
