Defending champions, John Keells Holdings booked their quarter final berth in the Cup segment with 2 easy wins on day 1 in the Mercantile Rugby Football Association (MRFA) Rugby Sevens which took place at the CR and FC rugby ground in Longdon Place yesterday.

John Keells Holdings beat CDB 24/0 and Sampath Bank 24/14 in their group encounters.
