Jordan and Qatar join World Rugby 

Jordan Rugby Committee and Qatar Rugby Federation joined World Rugby associate members, bringing the number of national unions to 127. Turkish Rugby Federation too joined the scrum in the last lot of three teams around the globe.

Jordan and Qatar have been making steady progress in Asia. Qatar’s first rugby club was first established in 1974 with international representation coming in 2006. Meanwhile Jordan started a decade ago both in the Men’s and Women’s segment.
