Junior Cricket Selection Committee named

The junior cricket selection committee got their appointment letters from Sports Minister Harin Fernando recently.

The committee will be involved in selections of the Under 15, Under 17, Under 19 and Under 23 national level teams plus the provincial teams. The committee will be functioning for a period of one year till end January 2020.

Former national players Farveez Mahroof and Nilantha Ratnayake will be part of the committee. Farveez played for Wesley while Nilantha played for Trinity and represented Sri Lanka in the One Day series in Australia.

Chairman Ranjith Madurusinghe, Ranjan Paranavithana, Gajaba Pitigala, A.S. Nishanthan, K.H. Nandasena, Gamini Wickremasinghe, Dilshan De Silva, Nilantha Ratnayake and Farveez Mahroof.
