Kandy v Dambulla ends in no decision

The Prima Under-15 Youth League encounter between Kandy and Dambulla ended in a no decision at the Thurstan College Ground yesterday.

The league encounter had a delayed start, plus rain in tandem did not allow a result in the end.

Batting first, the lads from the Central Hills were shot out for a low 108 during their batting turn. Only skipper Chanul Kodithuwakku (33) and Sanithu Gunathilake (37) batted with authority.

In reply, Dambulla replied with 44-3 when bad light forced the umpires to call off the game.
