Kanrich Finance emerges to finals at Mercantile Cricket Association Tournament defeating PABC

At the Mercantile Cricket Association tournament 2018, Kanrich Finance won the semifinals defeating Pan Asia Bank by 9 wickets. 

The Pan Asia Bank team chose to bat first and was all out for 100 runs in 36 overs. The match was stopped due to bad weather and Kanrich team was given a target of 92 runs in 42 overs based on Duckworth Loise theory. 

Kanrich scored 94 runs in just 17 overs with nine wickets in hand and became qualified for the finals. In bowling Tharushan Iddamalgoda obtained four wickets while Chanaka Devinda obtained three wickets. Tharushan scored 52 runs (not out) and Shashika Fernando scored 24 (not out). 

The finals of Mercantile Cricket Association tournament will be held on 17 March at MCA ground between Kanrich Finance and CDB.
