Kapila Silva appointed Manager at Trinity Rugby

Former Isipathana, CR and FC, Kandy SC and national player, Kapila Silva was appointed as the Team Manager of the Trinity College Under 19 rugby outfit for 2024 rugby season.

Kapila represented the Green Shirts from 1995 to 1997 and later started his club rugby at CR and FC before crossing to Kandy SC in 2000. He played for the Up Country club from 2000 to 2008. Soon after his playing career ended he was appointed as the Kandy SC Team Manager in 2008 and holds this position till now.

Kapila represented the national rugby outfit from 1998 to 2004 in Sevens rugby while part of the outfit in the XV a side from 1998 to 2000. - (SJ)
