Kavinda to coach Antonians cricket

 Former Trinity College Cricketer, Nuwara Eliya District Coach, Kavinda Jayasuriya has been appointed the Head Coach of the St. Antony’s College, Katugastota.

Kavinda who played for Trinity as an all-rounder is a level 2 qualified coach who handled Trinity for 7 long years winning them many trophies for Trinity during stint with his alma mater. He also coached D.S. and Old Trinitians SC.

Kavinda played for Trinity College for four years, and also represented Kandy District under 17 and 19, teams and also Central Province Under-17 and Under-19 teams.  He also played club cricket in England, Kandy CC and Kandy Youth as well. Trinity became the best team in the All Island in 2016 and 2020, League runner-up in 2018 and 2016 one day runner-up and won many trophies during his stint of seven years at his alma mater.
