Kavinda to lead Antonians

The Under-20 rugby outfit of St. Anthony’s College, Katugastota will be led by Kavinda Amarakoon during the 2018 rugby season, which will kick off in March. 

Kavinda will have national youth player Mohamed Sabeer, one of the best second rowers in the country, serving as his deputy.

The Antonians will be coached by one of their Old Boys, 1986 scrumhalf Sanjaya Amunugama, with former Kandy SC and National Sevens and Fifteens player Pradeep Liyanage functioning as his deputy. The Antonians, who finished as the plate runners-up in 2017, will be expecting to break the top three next season. (SJ)
