Former Vidyartha College, CR & FC, national sevens and fifteens player Kavindu Perera  will cross over to Kandy Sports Club during the 2019/2020 rugby season, which will be kicked off in November this year. 

25-year-old Kavindu, one of the best products of Vidyartha College, will occupy the vacant winger’s position for the Up Country Club who will defend their League. Kavindu, who led the Red Shirts for two years, will have his former schoolmate Anurudha Wilwara occupying the other winger’s position.

Kavindu was released by the Longdon Place Club late last month after his contract came to an end.
