Kaya in sparkling form ending on 7th position on day 3

Sri Lankan Junior Golfer Kaya Daluwatte continued with her brilliant performance, ending on 7th place at the end of day 3 of the Singha Thailand World Junior Championship 2023.
Meanwhile, in the Boy’s segment, Reshan Algama facing a tough and challenging day, dropped down from his previous two days ranking of 10 to 13 position on day 3.
In the Girls segment Kaya Daluwatte emerged as a standout performer, shooting a solid 3-over-par round, securing a total score of 228. This remarkable effort allowed her to maintain her position within the top 7 and positioned her for a spirited battle to climb up the leaderboard. Kaya Daluwatte’s consistent and focused performance demonstrated her determination to make her mark in the tournament.
Meanwhile, it was Hong Kong’s Wong Michelle who shone the brightest on day 3, taking over the top spot with a brilliant 3 under a total score of 218. Her exceptional play showcased her skills and composure under pressure, making her a strong contender for the championship.
Much was expected from Reshan Algama, who entered the day in the 10th position. Unfortunately, Algama struggled, shooting 8 over par and dropping down the leaderboard to 13th place with a total score of 233.
Salahog Bob (Philippines) took the lead with an impressive total score of 214. The competition among the boys remained fierce, with the potential for dramatic changes in the standings during the final day of play.
Jevahn Sathsivam had his best round of the tournament, finishing 20th with a seven-over-par total score of 244. He showcased his resilience and determination to improve his performance in a challenging field. His long-range shots were piece of class with top-class accuracy.
Kumar Danushan maintained his 15th position with a total score of 238, demonstrating his consistency throughout the tournament. Jacob Norton secured the 26th spot with a similar total score of 238, indicating the tight competition in the middle of the leaderboard.
