Kingswood edge out Wesley

Kingswood retained the L. E. Blaze Trophy when they beat their traditional rivals Wesley by 17 points (3 tries, 1 conversion) to 12 points (4 penalties) at Nittawela Rugby Stadium yesterday.

At the short breather, Wesley led 9/5.

The game was played at a hectic pace with the Wesley outfit dominating the initial half though they could not breach the tight Randles Hill defence.

Kingswood settled down in the latter half and scored two more second half tries to seal the game.
