Kingswood retain Lennie de Silva trophy

Kingswood College Under-20 beat Royal College 2/1 in the Lennie de Silva Trophy annual hockey encounter which took place at the Peradeniya University grounds. 

Kingswood’s goals were scored by I.D.S.J. Jayatissa and K.A.D. Thiwanka. Royal’s solitary goal came from M.R. Fernando.

Kingswood was coached by A.B. Godigamuwa. 

The Under-16 encounter played for the Kathab Roshan Memorial Trophy ended in a 2-all draw. The Old Boys encounter was won by the Randles Hill outfit 3/0. – (SJ)
