Kingswood to end on Number 4

Kingswood College will be playing their last first round encounter when they host the newcomers to the big league, Maliyadeva College today at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium.

The Randles Hill School led by big prop forward, Milan Weerasinghe had a grand season. They beat Wesley in their opening game played for L E Blaze. Then their next three games could have easily gone their way. They lost out to St. Peter’s and Thomians by a difference of one try each. Against Peterites they were closer to the try line for the last 15 minutes without success. Even the Thomian game they had all the chances. Royal encounter again at home they panicked though holding majority of the territory most part of the game. A big win here today will put them at Number 4 in order to play in the Cup later on in round 2. Scrum Half Hirusha Sampath, Shazan Rahuman and skipper Milan Weerasinghe will need to be on top of their games.
