KNOD Ltd., Singaporean tech firm, has launched Koach Hub, a revolutionary football coaching platform, in Sri Lanka.
This advanced tool integrates video tutorials, podcasts, e-assessments, and traditional drills into a unified platform, aimed at significantly enhancing player training and development.
The football technology sector is rapidly expanding, with global revenues projected to hit $ 30 billion by 2024. This growth is driven by the increasing demand for sophisticated coaching tools, particularly in areas with high youth sports engagement. In the US, where over 60 million children participate in organised sports annually, there is a growing need for innovative coaching solutions. Koach Hub seeks to address this demand with a platform offering comprehensive analytics and tailored training programs.
In Sri Lanka, youth football participation has grown by 15% over the past three years, indicating rising interest in the sport. Koach Hub’s launch is strategically timed to support this trend by providing a modern coaching tool that blends advanced technology with traditional training methods. This combination is expected to elevate coaching effectiveness and player development across the country.
Koach Hub CEO and Co-Founder Tariq Cassim commented on the platform’s potential: “Football is a universal language that unites people worldwide. Koach Hub Co-Founder and Head of Product Strategy Kamila Amarasinghe highlighted the extensive research behind the platform’s design: “We consulted with coaches, players, and parents from around the world to understand their needs. This feedback has been crucial in developing a platform that effectively supports football training. We believe Koach Hub will be a valuable resource for football enthusiasts.” Koach Hub also prioritises user privacy and security, with robust measures ensuring that users access only their own data and training materials. “Protecting user data is paramount,” Amarasinghe stated. “Koach Hub is equipped with advanced security features to ensure users can focus on training without concerns about privacy.”
The Colombo launch is just the beginning of Koach Hub’s international expansion. Leveraging Singapore’s technological infrastructure, the platform is set to impact football coaching worldwide.
