Kurunegala Region wins People’s Bank Chairman’s Six-a-Side Cricket

People’s Bank Chairman’s Trophy Inter-Regional Six-A-Side Cricket Tournament Champions and Runners-up

The Chairman’s Trophy Inter-Region Six-A-Side Leather Ball Cricket Tournament organised by the People’s Bank Sports Club was held on 22 and 23 of July at the Sri Lanka Air Force Grounds, Colombo 02. The Kurunegala Region emerged victorious in the tournament, with the Head Office ‘A’ team winning the Runners Up trophy.

The tournament saw the participation of 24 teams representing all regions and two teams fielded by the Head Office, bringing the total to 26 teams.

People’s Bank Chairman Sujeewa Rajapakse, Acting Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Clive Fonseka, members of the Corporate and Executive Management teams and a large number of staff members attended the event.
