Kusal Perera tests COVID-19 positive

Former Sri Lanka white-ball Captain Kusal Perera, who is not participating in the ongoing Dialog SLC Invitational T20 League in Pallekele due to a shoulder injury, has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batsman was found to be positive during a PCR test carried out on the players on Sunday. Following the detection, Perera is undergoing due medical protocols pertaining to the disease.
