LPL player draft postponed to 9 Nov.

The player draft of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2021 second edition, which was scheduled to be held today, has been rescheduled and will take place on 9 November.

This decision was taken to accommodate a request made by several franchise owners, owing to the fact that the draft coincides with the ‘Diwali’ festival season, which is currently being celebrated, states a Sri Lanka Cricket media release.

Jaffna Kings retain Shoaib Malik, Usman Shinwari for LPL 2021
