LV Jayaweera Schools Boxing meet from 12-16 July

The much looked forward L V Jayaweera Schools Boxing meet for the boys will be worked off after a lapse of two years at St Sylvester’s College in Kandy from 12 to 16 July. 

The last meet took place in 2019 and the last two years there were no event due to COVID-19 pandemic around the country.

More than 250 boxers from 70 schools around the country will be in the Ring and mouth-watering boxing awaits for the fans over a period of five days.

In the Girls segment of the same tournament took place in Ratnapura where the Poramadulla National School won the event. Entries will close on 5 July.
