Lanka Cavaliers Six-a-Side cricket put off for 30 Sept.

The Lanka Cavaliers 20th Anniversary Six-a-Side Cricket Tournament, scheduled to be  held on Saturday, 16 September, has been postponed to 30 September.

The organising committee headed by Basil Perera visited De Soysa Park, Moratuwa (the designated venue) yesterday and took a call to postpone the event, bearing in mind the present uncertain weather pattern, heavy conditions underfoot and the safety of the senior cricketers taking part in the tournament. All players are over 45 (one over 50).
