Sri Lanka’s premier healthcare service provider, Lanka Hospital PLC’s partnership with the renowned Havelock Sports Club as their Official Healthcare Partner is being continued into the fourth consecutive year. The partnership was officially declared during a press conference at Havelock Sports Club with the club’s title sponsors.
Lanka Hospitals in its exclusive partnership with Havelock Sports Club will provide treatment and rehabilitation for sports injuries through the hospital’s sports medicine unit for Havelock Sports Club team players.
Speaking of the continued partnership with the Park Club, Lanka Hospitals’ Chief Marketing Officer Nimal Ratnayake said: “Havelock Sports Club has been a household name within Sri Lanka’s rugby circles for generations and the club has rendered yeoman service to uplift the sport in the country, very similar to Lanka Hospitals’ role and reputation within the healthcare sector in Sri Lanka.
“It’s a perfectly matched partnership and we are very happy to continue with it for the fourth consecutive year. It also gives us great pleasure to support the sport of rugby in the country in our capacity as a responsible corporate citizen.”
Havelock Sports Club has a proud history spanning over 107 years, being one of the oldest and most prestigious rugby clubs in the country. For the most part of its history, the club has been at the forefront of local rugby. The club is a frontrunner in the title chase of the ongoing inter-club rugby league tournament 2023.
